This one-pan dish is easy to make and is full of flavour. It’s sure to become part of your regular dinner rotation. Serves 2-4

INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup maple syrup or raw honey
  • 1/4 pkg Chef Laura’s Hot Chicks spice blend
  • ⅓ cup mustard of your choice (try grainy, dijon, or stone ground mustard)
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp grapeseed oil (or any mildly flavoured oil)
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Garnish:
    Italian parsley, chopped

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, combine the Hot Chicks spice blend, maple syrup or raw honey (depending which you’re using), mustard, apple cider vinegar and stir well.
  2. Add the boneless, skinless chicken breasts and submerge into the marinade.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight.
  4. Once the chicken has marinated, heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a skillet.
  5. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken and cook flipping occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and golden brown on all sides, about 4-6 minutes per side.
  6. Garnish with chopped Italian parsley, if desired.
